Ulla is in her eel-tailed form when she opens the door, but the water level
in the cabin is all the way lowered, the grotto at the bottom of the steep
slope of dark gray sand fully visible. "Come in. We can do this in the
grotto, if you want. It's more comfortable."
The inside of the door has a mosaic with a design of a wolf and
butterflies, and once they get down to the grotto itself, the walls are
also mosaics: arching branches, swirling ocean currents, a symmetrical
flower. All of it is pearl and shimmering shell and precious stones. But
there are pillows and blankets and towels on the floor, easy enough to
grab. Ulla tends to sleep in a nest when she isn't underwater.
Laura nods at going down to the grotto and takes a look around on the way. It remains the coolest cabin she's been in and she'd been in a few. There was something about the ocean and water motifs that were comforting and she's not sure why. As a kid growing up, they hardly ever visited the ocean or any of the nearby lakes for that matter.
She follows Ulla down and waits for the next set of instructions.

Laura gathers a small collection of music from her player and heads over. When she arrives she knocks twice and waits for Ulla to answer.
